Plans for New Resource Center next to University of Richmond—for UR Students and Greater Richmond

Rev. Chris Daniel on September 24, 2010

The Richmond Study Center is now making plans for a new resource center close to the University of Richmond for interested students at the University of Richmond and the Greater Richmond community as a whole.

This resource center will be a place where students and Richmonders can come and check out or purchase various resources (books, audio books, videos, etc.) relating to worldview, apologetics, culture and theology.  It will also be a place of hospitality (with coffee, etc.) where people can come and explore, ask questions, enter into discussions, and study.  We will also have a multi-layered event calendar, including speaking events from professors and others, various courses, video showings, movie and discussion times, and a children's reading time.

Of course, to accomplish this part of our vision, we need a substantial increase in our monthly pledges and one-time giving, and we hope to be able to pull the trigger by this coming summer.  If you are interested in making this a reality, please consider how you might give to this effort.  You can do so at our support page, or call us at 804-852-5151.

Thank you!

* It should be noted that there is no formal relationship between the Richmond Center for Christian Study and the University of Richmond.
