It's Official! Lease Signed Today! – We are so excited and thankful to be able to announce that the lease for our new location at Libbie & Grove has been signed!
Having a location like this close to campus will open up a whole new world for the Richmond Study Center. This will be a place where students and Richmonders can come and check out or purchase various resources (books, audio books, videos, etc.) relating to worldview, apologetics, culture and theology.
It will also be a place of hospitality (with an ice cream and coffee shop!) where people can come and explore, ask questions, enter into discussions, and study. We will also have a multi-layered event calendar, including speaking events from professors and others, various courses, video showings, movie and discussion times, and a children's reading time. This new location, scheduled to open in the spring, will be a lively and meaningful place for students and Richmonders alike!
Now that we are moving into a new location, we are looking for a good number of people who can volunteer in an ongoing capacity.
We are in need of individuals who can help in any of the following ways:
Manning the location
Church/community communications
Office work
Development
If you are interested in exploring how you might be a part, we would love for you to contact us!
Can you help us fill this new space?
Help Us Stock the Resource Center! – As we move in to our new location, please consider a "house warming" gift and help us stock the Resource Center! You can donate a resource through Amazon or locally through Book People. Here are the resources we are in need of...
Worldview Resources
Apologetics Resources
Culture Resources
Theology Resources
Children's Resources
Thank you so much for your consideration and your help in filling this new place that God has so graciously provided!
